Nail polish

Nail polish audit – The Twelve:26

I wore and evaluated these twelve polishes from late July to mid October. Three by Cirque Colors, two each by Smitten Polish and Fun Laquer and one each by OPI, Emily de Molly, Femme Fatale, Zoya and Indigo Bananas. Heavy focus on one of my favourite colours for nail polish – green.

Hell yes!

Indigo Bananas – EMS Recombination
OPI – Green-wich Village
Zoya – Jace
Femme Fatale – His Fangs Are Sharp (Jumanji Collection)
FUN Laquer – Uniphant (Holo)
Cirque Colors – Succulent Garden

Maybe

Cirque Color – Kaleidoscope (over Jace)

I do find this glitter interesting but since I rarely wear glitter I do not need to keep too many options. This can stay in the maybe pile for now, until I can evaluate it against the rest when I’ve gone through all of my shades (any year now!).

Hell no!

Cirque Colors – Le Invader (over Jace)

This glitter simply does not strike my fancy anymore. No need to keep it.

Smitten Polish – Electric Lime

This polish reeked so strongly. I’m not sure why, maybe I’ve added a thinner to make it come alive at some point but the intensity of the smell is very off-putting. Enough to keep me from using it ever again, so it must go.

Smitten Polish – Not Your Mama’s Easter Grass

This is a very pretty polish but not a fave on me. I will always choose other green shades over this one.

So to conclude this round of The Twelve I ended up with eight keepers, one maybe and three hell noes.

Thank you for reading!
